The way they are selling R's I don't see them making changes due to "lack of demand". I think they are going to keep doing what they are doing until sales plummet. I think painting the truck after delivery is your best option if you don't want to wrap it.
Polarizing question, most 802 owners firmly believe that it’s the only way to go. I’ve owned 802 and 801, 802 is more desirable for sure but doesn’t seem to hold value appreciably better when taking additional cost into account. I hated the Recaro seats so ended up with a 801 and had no regrets...
This thread is comical, just like the Gen 1 vs gen 2 guys. Everyone is entrenched in what they own.
If money is no object, Gen 3 is better hands down. If you have your truck paid off and don’t have disposable income to burn on a new truck, nothing about the Gen 3 is going to make your life...
I'm okay with efficiency being the goal, but get rid of the emissions BS. Modern diesel reliability has been destroyed by EGR, DPF, DEF, and so on with very little measurable "emissions" effect.
Use the keypad several times daily. Everyone uses their vehicle differently, really a lot of stupid deletes from Ford. But as long as people are paying they are going to keep deleting and increasing price.
I enjoyed my '24 more than my '23 for sure. The front end grew on me quickly so I like gen 3.5 more than gen 3 appearance wise, and I had shelter green which looks fantastic to my eye. Fit and finish on my '24 was better as well.
