I was looking for a reasonable '25 Raptor R, but gave up that fight. I have since drove a '25 Raptor 37, which I loved!!
My current truck, a 2024 Ram 2500 Cummins Mega Cab is being underutilized, as my initial needs for that truck have changed. With only 26,000 miles, I feel a little foolish looking to trade after only 14 months., as this beast will run for 250k miles without trying. But my pattern over the last 40 years has been to trade more often than I should, as I love cars and trucks. There are probably worse habits, but not many.

I have been offered a good trade value, and knowing I need tires soon, I feel it's $1,000 higher than it should be. The Raptor is $3k off sticker, and I am unsure if that is good in the current market or not.

Looking for others with experiences in buying the 2025 37's, and what kind of price range should I be looking at, and if I am foolish for trading my Ram too quickly.

Thanks!

If you are not towing or hauling a big load the Raptor is a great truck. The price point looks good and coming from a Ford F-250 I know I wouldn't go back to a 3/4 ton unless I needed it to tow.

cross shop the RHO. (37) Raptors are overpriced and have been starting at Jen Too; 2017 onward. They’ve done a lot of design and development but Ford has been subsidizing the EV’s with overpricing the ICE portfolio, which you likely already know based on the Dark Horse in your profile pic.

If you like the Raptor more than set an objective goal for getting one and go for it, but at least cross shop.
That said, 37’s were very slow to lose ADM and only recently could be had for under MSRP.
3k under MSRP sounds good on the surface for the truck but I’ll need to defer to more recent 37 buyers.

Good luck !

Dealer in Alabama has a used 24 802 (37) loaded for $83K with 2,900 miles. Another dealer in TN has a used 24 802 no moonroof for $88K with 150 miles on it.

Resale values are starting to course correct in some markets.
