Model year 2025 Keypad - early deliveries

Picked mine up Monday. Was supposed to have dealer installed keypad. They never installed it. I hate the friggin thing. Looks ugly. Dealer gave me credit for it. Was OK when it was built into the B pillar. Never used it anyway.

I finally got around to installing the keypad 2 weeks ago. As mentioned the lack of a clear shot & the Christmas tree wire holders did present some challenges getting the wire down to the plug. Make sure to verify the plug is on the exterior side of the window track. Having someone hold the flashlight, another person holding the door panel & made it a little easier to maneuver it into place. The wiring harness was there with a cap on it. The one that fit my wire harness was keypad FL3Z-14A626-AH. My build date was 1-17-25. This past weekend I tackled the Forscan & it went as planned. I was able to cycle the fobs in the cubby under the cup holder to display the factory keypad code. Then I was able to add my code under vehicle settings.

And we come full circle. I added a keypad on my F150 exactly 25 years ago.

Presented challenges, etc. just like now.

It was well worth any skinned knuckles. I used it hundreds of times.
