In the 10 plus years that I probably performed several thousand alignments I never had issues using a computer aided alignment machine. And I aligned everything from school busses, to trailers, to rock crawlers, to track cars and everything in between. It's just another type of measuring tool, and like everything else in the world, it only works as well as the person behind it and the condition its in.

Ahhhhhh Hit The Nail n The Head!!!!!!

Update:

4 trips to PepBoys and they couldn't get it to not pull to the right. Today it spent the day at a Offroad Speciality Shop that I have confidence in.
They aligned it and it is still pulling to the right. They installed a camber adjustment kit and still pulls to the right. They inspected the front end and rotated the tires and it still pulls to the right. I am not sure what direction or how it was rotated, but in any event it still pulls. After 4 hours they sent me back to Discount Tire to have them replace all four tires. The Manager there agreed to order 2 new tires for the front to see if that would help. He was not very optimistic that it would make any difference.

Everyone is at a loss on why it pulls to the right after replacing the wheels and tires. My plan at this point is to have them replace the 2 front tires and see if it keeps in line. If so, then I am happy, if not, the next step is to put the OEM wheels and tires back on and realign and see what happens.

If anyone here has any idea, please let me know. Just to let you know, the only suspension "mod" I have is Mid Perch which was done just after I got the truck in December. Have never had any issue with it pulling or being out of alignment even after TRR.

Thanks in advance,

Alvin

When did it start pulling? How hard does it pull? Did anyone make sure the brakes weren't dragging on the right side or that the iwe wasn't releasing and keeping the right half shaft engaged?

It started pulling the moment after the new wheels and tires were installed.
It does t pull hard. If I hold the steering wheel dead straight it drives straight as an arrow. When I let go of the steering wheel it moves clockwise about half inch and the truck drifts immediately to the right.

I am not sure what all was checked, but he said they inspected the front end everything looked perfect. Of course a visual inspection might not be enough.

Hmm. Try sticking it in 4x4 and drive it down some straight even hwy, see if the pull changes.

Good idea with 4 wheel drive.
I will have to keep it straight on pavement.

Yeah just find a straight stretch and see what it does. It won't hurt the 4x4

if it's dead on it will pull to the right just from the crown in the road. where I live I can drive in the middle of the road for a bit no traffic. make sure there is no wind.

Just out of curiousity, what tires do you have on the truck? Are they M/T's, more specifically, Toyo M/T's? I ask because I had a similar issue to what you seem to have. As soon as I put my Toyo M/T's and Methods on, the truck was drifting right everytime I let go of the steering wheel. I brought it in, had an alignment done twice, had the caster offset to compensate for road crown, and was still pulling right. I put the stock wheels and tires on, no pull. I did some research and found that Toyo's have a tendency to have this right hand pull. I'm sure other M/T's do as well. But once they get some miles on them it is supossed to improve. Anyway I now have 2k miles on the tires and the pull is pretty much gone, drives much better now.

Yes the tires are Toyo 35 1250 17s with Method NV 17x8.5 wheels. Maybe I need to live with the pull to the right. It just seems dangerous to have to hold the wheel firm all the time.
