Mrs.FFS and I are very interested in making this get together. It will be a 1200 mile round trip drive for us so we would have to make it a long weekend event. I found out that there is an Air Force campgound at Fort Fisher where we (as DoD Civilians) can stay.

Also, since we have just been notified that we are being furloughed on Friday's starting 12 July, we might as well take advantage of the unpaid vacation day. We'll drive up on the 26th and camp at Fort Fisher, meet everyone on the 27th and camp at Fort Fisher, then drive home on the 28th.

I'm going to check availablility at Fort Fisher and if I can get reservations, you can count us in. This might just work!

Where's everyone staying? We (gr82bautvul and I) are 2 or so hours away and will prob just get a hotel as to not have to drive back. Gotta a feeling it might be a late night.

Plus we'll only be living about a hour away. Anyone who wants is welcome to come back and hang out/crash at our place. Far from Stock, you can even set up your nifty camper in our driveway
