Damn it. I missed out on blue! Fuching sheet bassturd. :troll3: Oh well, tan will do.....It's on it's way, thanks Trey!
BTW; There is good reason the pelican has NO print expressing dry ice compatible. They're not. That is based on the fact that a friend of mine cracked his trying it and it wasn't covered. (six month's old)

interesting! I asked them and they emailed me back telling me it was dry-ice compatible. So I called Pelican warranty and spoke to them about dry-ice and they told me it is compatible but that that the dry-ice has to be wrapped in cardboard and not touching the cooler. Does this mean you do not have to wrap the dry-ice in a yeti?

Most dry ice we use comes in paper cubes. Like regular typing paper. If it is just straight dry ice, newspaper or such is recommended.

I'm glad you all are discussing the Pelican's as well. A local Motorcycle/Gun shop (a strange but very special dealer) is selling the Pelican's. I was very impressed with the quality and also the locking clasps. They are MUCH cheaper than the Yeti's I've seen, but I have never priced them with Trey. They too weigh a frick'n ton - empty.

I just received a pelican 45 (damn heavy) from Trey and the quality is excellent and the price is way less when compared to Yeti. And I love the locking clasps. I prefer them over the Yetis rubber straps. I find that with my yeti I have to use 2 hands to lock/unlock the straps. One hand to hold the cooler (leverage and also make sure the cooler does not move) and the other to pull on the strap. For those considering a high-end cooler, you will not be disappointed with the Pelican. And def talk to trey about the pelican, his prices are the best I have seen.

For me,the tundra was the optimum size. Inside and out. The reputation for durability and warranty coverage didn't hurt either. Yes it would be nice to save some money, but maximizing interior space and minimizing exterior, pelican didn't have one to match.

Got my Yeti on Monday! Unfortunately it is still in the box in the garage, haven't had time to even get it out and look at it. Thanks Trey!

I got the tundra 65 and a roadie from Trey a couple weeks ago. Both are great! The roadie has been monopolized by my wife. She uses it daily now. She thinks it is the perfect size.
