Well this weekend I will be trying out my Yeti for the first time so yeah i'll report back. I personally like the rubber straps because the hard ones on the other coolers eventually break off due to people using them as handles rather than latches like designed. Bear tested don't mean shit to my friends so well see how it goes.

Your ice will brick to one big chunk! Haha. And I will warn ya. The yetis I know seal so well that its hard to get em open at times. Don't be afraid to give a good tug. I always liked this feature I like to call it bc the lady can't get into my chests!! Haha

Just as long as my beer is cool I'll be a happy even if its a solid chunk of ice. Yeah I did notice it does seal quite well so this should be interesting. Always a good conversation starter or at least keep the SOBs i don't want in it out!

It seals because the ice melts. Ice has more volume than water. Which means when the ice melts, it creates a suction.

If you don't wanna deal with the seal, unscrew the drain plug a little. You'll here it break suction. Screw it back in and open it up easily.

PM Teey he'll quote a good price to include shipping & you'll have a hard time with finding a better price.

Agreed. Trey has very good prices (trust me I have checked). I purchased a Yeti Roadie from him and currently waiting for my Pelican 45 to arrive. The Pelican prices are killer. I could not justify spending over $120 for the same size Yeti cooler so I went with the Pelican.
