I think I saw you in Moab.

timed it perfect and got to ride the Whole Enchilada on the last day open until next Summer. 30 miles and 8k’ descending from 11k’ down to the Colorado River. 77f in town Sat, snowing Sunday afternoon.

spent 9h today, Moab to Steamboat. I70 treacherous with ice. Dozens of vehicles off the road and wrecked. Raptor into 4a/Slippery and kept the speed under 60 and never a twitch. 18.4 mpg.

-9f on Hiway 131. Maybe a dozen vehicles oncoming in two hours. On with the onx6 and I could see the road and deer like it was daylight.

I am finding the Offroad lights very beneficial onroad on backroads. Last week I was ripping 110mph at 3a across Idaho prairie. Lit up miles from a 120degree sweep from the baja design lighting up front. Awesome experience. The added safety from the lighting is huge. Of course, On trail At night is awesome, too

Do you have information on this electric blanket? I am in need of this device.
Sunbeam from Walmart! Like $25, maybe less. I measured current draw at .7amps at 5/10 setting. 100ah battery has 50ah usable, so 71 hours of run time for the blanket. No condensation issues from propane/combustion heater. Works well.

Why are you sleeping in the Raptor with the a mobile home in tow?
Great question!

Family Mode: Wife+4 kids=RV with Raptor Toad to explore. We do this about once every other month on average.

Me Solo, or Me+1=Raptor. I take a trip solo about ~once every other week or so (+15x a year?) to work my butt off (remote); explore; and ride somewhere cool (working remote is awesome!). My Wife loves me more after a few days break :). I also try to get out just me and my wife a few times a year and I also try to do 1:1 trips with each of my kids. The speed and comfort of the Raptor gives me an operation radius of up to ~700 miles for 3-5 day trips. I can setup my GFC in about 3 mins including inflating the mattress. Insta-outback-camp.

I also run a few ‘layover’ overlanding rips each year by a) drive; b) explore/ride; c) leave rig at local airport and fly home; d) and then fly back a week or two later; e) explore/ride some more; f) and then drive back home. That option gets me to WA, OR, MT, WY, and NM from southern NV. I can cover CA, (Baja?), NV, UT, AZ, and CO with straight out and back overlanding.
