there should be one on each frame rail...right? haha maybe i thought there was suppose to be one there and took the other one off for no reason LOL sounds like something i would do. so if theres only one i guess i took off the only one that was on there OOPS oh well!

There is only 1 "mass damper". It is located on the drivers side.

It is functional "doohickey". It works really well in text books. ;) it changes the natural frequency of the chassis.

I take our off as soon as I have the opportunity. Much easier to remove when the bed is off. But remember that we have frame support kits.

Oh ok got it Corey thanks I never really knew there was only one but I took te one off pretty easy with an angle grinder haha I didn't have a way to remove the bed. It was actually around the same time I ordered the stage 3 kit from you guys as well

So the the advantage of removing this dampener is weight savings and I get rid of an annoying rattle.
What are the drawbacks?
I do have the RPG stage 2 installed.

Get rid of that thing. We take them off all the time. I can't tell the difference with it on or off other than having to hear it smack around back there when it's on.

We've never once noticed an increase in cab vibration.
