I hope that light bar isn't on your truck 24/7 and is just a temporary thing. Sorry but on a $50k truck that looks like a $5 rigged up thing that belongs on a trash truck with all the wires dangling around.

Nice. Are you a welder, Reptar? If so, I'd be interested in seeing photos of your design. If not, please be advised that there are places where the sun don't shine.

I have to agree with Reptar, it kinda looks like poop/something I would do with my friends back when we were 14 years old after a trip to Pepboys/Taco Bell. Haha jk. At least you got light! Fogs would be nice as they help the eyes at night for anything 10ft in front of you or less. It would also help provide more light to the front camera, though I think some small led night lights around the camera (like a security camera) would provide the best back light for the front camera @ night imo.

I'm not a welder by trade, but the pics aren't anywhere near close up enough to even debate over weld quality, but they sure do show a sloppy job of wiring. Even the wiring aside, it just looks like it was made from some bar stock from home depot and a couple tubes. The ford racing and other light bars look like they'd hold up to hitting some stuff on a trail. That it looks like if you bump into it washing the truck it'll fold over to the side. Sorry, I don't mean to just bash, but these forums are about expressing opinions, and just trying to provide some constructive criticism. To me, and many others, that doesn't look like a piece of equipment that belongs anywhere near a $50k+ truck.

BTW, I am an EE, so I guess I am certified at the very least to say the wiring looks like doo doo  lol

I wouldn't mind seeing some side shots, but from the looks of it, it appears to just be vertical straight up and down, not following any contours of the truck, and further looking out of place to me.

I didnt see him asking for peoples opinion about his stuff... saying you didnt mean to bash means nothing when you just bashed him! If it works for him thats all that matters!!!
and I am not bashing you... I didnt see where he asked if it looks good... He just posted what he did to solve his lighting... What he did dont work for you thats cool... and as for thinking it dont belong on a 50k truck... Have you seen what a POS the rear bumper is? To me thats the thing that dont belong on a 50k truck...

it's an open forum, a thread on fog light setups in general, anything that gets posted up is open for anyone's opinion or feedback. Forums where the only responses are "+1" and "good mod" no matter what the mod, have no value. Luckily FRF isn't one of those. Simply sharing some honest feedback and I'm clearly not the only one who has the same opinion.

As for the rear bumper, didn't see anything wrong with mine. Yeah the metals not all that thick, but it looks fine, and it's not made out of flat stock from lowes jutting out from every angle with bundles of wires taped together dangling across.

I agree with Hockster. It is like Whtrapta saying my FRF decal was too small to see on my truck. Everyone knows you don't comment on the size (or lack of) another man's decal. :)
