1) RECON junk
2) selling 2011 for 2012
3) top perch on 2012
4) negative offset wheels
5) ICON shocks are set above top perch

That came from me and I was wrong..

No no, I spoke to Icon on the phone a while back and they said it would sit a hair over top perch, which made me kind of nervous about installing them, because of the trouble it would cause with CV's, then the fact that if I ruined my CV's, RCV's would not be an option because mine has the bigger non modified cup part.

Talking to brad tonight.. All those problems are in the past my friend.. And you can turn the top ring all the way to the top (before mounting) and it will be around mid perch level..

Yes but mine still has the bigger cup. Despite those problems now being in the past mine still has those issues.
Thanks for the info about turning the top ring though.

Send the shocks back to us and we will swap out the lower mount for you. Or I can send them to you if you can handle installing them.

Mid perch should be right about 25 1/2" give or take a 1/4" and top perch should be 27 1/2" give or take a 1/4" center hub to fender lip. ICON is setting them about 26 3/4". You must keep in mind every truck is different and they will all vary slightly. I think the big deal about cranking them up to top perch or more ride height is the constant angle the cv's are run at, which in turn wears them out and or rips boots.

That is so awesome of you guys to offer that, you guys are the best. I was holding off on installing my fronts wondering what I should do. Glad I waited. I wonder if its something I could change with a couple of spring compressors.
