This is gonna be crazy fun and hilarious to hear about once it's over. Especially with folks that have never driven in snow before

---------- Post added at 02:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:41 PM ----------

I blast down country roads with ice and a lot of snow up to 100/110 kmph if im feeling brave, 2wd traction control completely off. Just gotta be on your toes and know the upcoming road has no traffic.

All my winter driving is done trac control completely off, i feel that traction control ***** me up completely in emergency situations

Ditto.
If there are drifts I'll stick a bit slower. But yep. Fun as hell! And I don't even have traction control as an option lol.

It does mess things up big time. First time I drove a truck with it on, it almost put me in the ditch.

It is good for people that don't know what they're doing though.

I had the tc almost kill me on the highway once at 120kph, it locked the throttle out and hit all the brakes when I hit deep slush and snow.
I actually had to hold that f-ing button down until the tc completely deactivated before I could stab the throttle to change directions.
I was almost to a bend in the highway headed straight for a big signpost.
you can cover a lot of ground in the time it takes that tc to deactivate.
I was looking around for the ejection seat handle, that's for sure !

A pic from a few minutes ago, this is what I'm rolling through all day, every day.
I'd love to be able to go on this run, it's right up my alley !

RED Letters?

Yup, good bite in snow that's seen a few temp changes, ie. crusty harder snow. They shovel just like a long track snow mobile in that stuff.
Not great in soft fluffy snow though, they chew straight down without gaining much forward momentum until you hit the ice/frozen ground underneath. The stock bfg's were better in those conditions.
