I hope we arent behind you Jack...lol
On another note, How the heck are you going to choose a contest winner and wait two days to announce it.
I would be!
I've seen what a shit-show it is trying to rein in just 25 trucks... hahaha
How do I get my Avatar to show my Snoball 500 number?
I'm ---- Wait for it ----
NUMBER 45!
(...I'm so stoked! I wanted to get to the Raptor Run just to see all these damn trucks and missed out. Now I get my chance!!!!)
...oh, and I'm NOT reading all one hundred and something pages to figure it out either!
Agreed! Our average pace for group runs is 30-35 MPH, on sunny days in beautiful SoCal on nice clean trails. Even though the trucks travel upwards of triple digits in a few places... the overall average is still quite slow, due to stops, mechanical issues, people stuck in sand, etc.In good conditions !
It'll be quite a handfull with folks that aren't used to driving in northern winter conditions, especially at a decent pace.
Blasting down fire roads and powerline roads during the summer you run much higher speeds, but the edge of the envelope is a bit more clearly defined. You can get out of shape a bit and gather the truck back up easily enough.
During the winter you really walk the razors edge if your moving at a good pace.
But I suppose with that many trucks going there won't be a whole lot of rally car style action. It'll be a good time regardless, I'm sure.
P.s. -The traction control in sport mode is a hinderance to driving fast, safely, in heavy snow. It'll steal your throttle control right when you need it to get the truck to rotate in corners that you start to push wide on. Takes a bit of wheelspin in 4wd to change angles mid corner without giving up momentum.
