Considering buying the low profile bed rack off the classifieds section with the hope that you have to pass through southern Illinois come xmas time... hahaha

Truck has the following already setup for the run.
Line-x premium bed, wheelwells, flares
SCT x3, 93 performance tune
K&N drop in
ASR 1x1/4" recovery rope and shackles
Weathertechs
Craven stubby

I'd love to have a catback, be at midperch, some auxLED lighting, and stage 2 or 3 from RPG before the run, but that all depends on how Christmas shakes out!

I'm taking donations for the please help outfit my truck for the SnoBall fund! Parts donations are just as good as cash

If that guy will meet us up on interstate 74, this would be no problem.

How does the stubby do in da Burgh? Being home for thanksgiving, I was having trouble picking up radio stations with the stock antenna.

Man, you guys are making me feel like such a slacker, but I need to get the wife's winter truck back up and running first.

So obviously, WSI is transforming his truck...
What is everyone else doing to get ready for the Snoball500?

Yukon Joe

I've been getting some things together.
ASR kinetic rope
Telescoping snow shovel
Cool user name magnet (thanks to RW).
Bought a stock filter for a backup replacement.

Want to:
Make a yellow lens / film cover for the Whelen lights.
Need to re-arch my rear springs to add + 2.
Need to finalize my bed management and buy some hardware.
Swap tires right before the run.
Change oil.
buy a spare serpentine belt.
Buy good winter boots for RW and myself.
If I can swing it, a temporary roof light mount with LED bar. :D

Stubby works great for me so far, but admittedly I only did a test run and went back to my ipod and satellite radio. I did have to listen to the start of the game yesterday and that worked flawlessly for the 30 minutes I was in the truck. I didn't have any issues with my stocker though, so maybe youre just too far out when back in town?? Honestly don't notice any difference between the stock and the stubby aside from the aesthetic factor. You can have my stocker if you want it come xmas time.

As for the pickup, that would be massive and I'd be sure to pay you for the trouble. I'm going to talk to the guy today and see if something can be worked out. It would really help my snoball planning

No payment needed. But the exchange could be the start to the yinzer meet up at permantti bruders on 51.

Are you going to get the D-rings for the bed bolts?

The Stealth wrap.
Dealer is going to get the Bed Line-X'd before I get to FL.
Put the D-Rings I ordered in the bed.
Move the tire to the bed, with rachet straps and the D-rings.
Mid-Perch if I have time.
Weathertech Floor mats.
Access rollup tonneu cover.
Shackles/recovery rope/fuel cans are already waiting at my Brother's house.

I'm shipping some of my stuff home from AFG in old Pelican cases so I'll have something water/dustproof to keep all my stuff in.

I ordered stuff to give making my own lights a whirl, but, that project is for Feburary.
