So obviously, WSI is transforming his truck...
What is everyone else doing to get ready for the Snoball500?

My fenders don't like them, wheel/hub bearings don't like them, cv joints don't like them (having to be on top perch to run them)..

Going with tested and proven (safe) methods on mid perch.

Talked to ICON, and the shock come set top perch height from factory. And even though they have 25,000+ miles on their truck with no issues with cv joints. You can back the preload off 2-3 turns to set it at mid perch height.

I loved the look, stance, and slinging mud out of the fender wells with negative offset wheels. Not being able to jump without worrying about fenders being torn off. Being cautious using 4wd because of cv joint binding and tearing boots. It is great for a street queen, not for a truck that gets used. And with the SNOball 500 coming up the truck will be used!

Still putting the final touches on my bed rack. Its coming along great.

Capped all the open ends, added Fire Extingisher and Shovel hold downs.

I hate ratchet straps and have been experimenting with "Quick Fist" products...They are awesome. A crap load of sizes and configurations.

Quick Fist Clamps

Final pics shortly.

If I am lucky, new tires and build up a bedrack. If I am unlucky, packing a big box full of whatever I need and strapping it in the truck.

Considering buying the low profile bed rack off the classifieds section with the hope that you have to pass through southern Illinois come xmas time... hahaha

Truck has the following already setup for the run.
Line-x premium bed, wheelwells, flares
SCT x3, 93 performance tune
K&N drop in
ASR 1x1/4" recovery rope and shackles
Weathertechs
Craven stubby

I'd love to have a catback, be at midperch, some auxLED lighting, and stage 2 or 3 from RPG before the run, but that all depends on how Christmas shakes out!

I'm taking donations for the please help outfit my truck for the SnoBall fund! Parts donations are just as good as cash
