Nice! Best X5 I've heard.

Seriously... stock sound is the last thing I'm concerned about. For a community that is so heavy into modding I find it funny something that can be easily changed from stock is causing people to lose their minds.

The truck has so many other points that hit the part... I'll figure out the sound thing later and if at all. I'll probably be to busy enjoying the thing behind the wheel than to give a shit what people outside my cabin think.

Thanks!

I likely won't be getting into another vehicle for at least a year, but it's a close toss-up between a Gen 2 and a new F250. I'm leaning towards the F250, especially with the Enforcer series bumpers we just released, but we'll see. Once I get some seat time behind a Gen 2, it may sway my decision.

Gen2 is going to be my first pickup. I had trouble deciding on crew cab or not so the dealer let me take a 250 out for a spin in both configurations so I could see for myself. The sound and power of that turbo diesel... it took everything to walk off the lot without it. I silently chanted "raptor raptor raptor" while pulling out the driveway.

Having already had a Gen1, I'm prone to go with the 250 - as they're looking sick with a new set of wheels, 37"s, and leveling off the front end.

My take on cab configurations:

Hardcore off-roader or a bachelor = SCAB

Family man, dogs, carrying people a lot = SCREW

I had a SCREW, definitely wished I had a SCAB at times, but I didn't nearly take it off-road enough to justify the SCAB.

Lies. We all know you're getting a Ram Rebel TRX.

I too am considering a heavier, slower, down on hp, low on twist, shorter travel, old shock, stone aged interior, sad transmission, boat anchor of a gas-a-holic gen 1.

I mean really folks. Both are cool trucks. Trump even won. Can't we all just be a fan and not an irrational troll. Troll'n in here is old'n in here.

my guess is trump's epa will lower the cafe standards. making a v8 a feasible option again. wonder what the resale value on a eco boost jen 2 will be compared to a v8 jen 2

Touche. In my opinion, I am not ruling out there ever being a TT V8, but if it comes out, it will be down the road. So the guys who want the new raptor with a V8 are going to be waiting longer than they think. Ford is not going to trumpf their beloved ecoboost 1 year after its introduction into the Raptor.

Only if Trump can reverse the hippie-liberal-tree-hugging-Birkenstock wearing incense burning, full-on body-haired women, body-odor having, patchouli smelling, obamar-inspired, epa driven cost-driven bureaucratic bull-shit that is cafe laws and all of the subsidiaries.
no real beef here

If it's a forced induction V8 than the V8 will cost more and resell for more. If it's just the same n/a V8 that you can get in practically any other F150 like the Jen1 engine was, than the HO Ecoboost will resell for more.
