I recently made the purchase for the rigid d2s fog lights. I am planning on getting them running tomorrow. My question is whether I can wire both pairs of lights to aux 3? Has anyone had any problems doing so?

The Rigid fog light kit is 4 lights total, if so I would not use switch #3 it only has a 15 Amp fuse. Use switch #1 or #2 they both have a 30 Amp fuse.

based on what both of you say,

mobilebeats- rigid d2 are 2.5amps each

justvettn- fog kit is a total of 4 lights

a 15 amp fuse should work fine. unless i am missing something and numbers are wrong?

Rigid's instructions are to use a 15 Amp fuse for 2 D2's so if thats what he has #3 is fine.
If he has 4 lights? Do the math.

I didn't read the instructions for the wiring. I calculated each light with the amperage prior to installing any so I know which switch I wanted for what light. My four d2s are on 3 with no issues. I'm not saying it's right according to rigid but I haven't had any issues.

Nothing will blow up, if you use 15 amp fuse for the 4 lights they may be slightly dim or flicker. I think the new D2's are 34 watts each.

so at 34 watts, divided by 14.4 volts equals 2.36111111111111111111(wheres the damn infinite sign?) volts. 2.36111111111111111111111111 x 4 = 9.444444444444444444444 volts so it appears the 15 amp fuse will work
