I’ve put Nitto ridge grappler 38x12.5 on my 2021 raptor. A little rubbing when bottoming out the rear end. Tight fit but otherwise works. Haven’t figured out if I’m going to trim some, do a small lift or go back to 37’s…

Spare does not fit under the truck anymore..,
Welcome to the place. Pics or you did it to your Prius.

So it bottomed out in the rear but front clears ? I was wondering how the front would do with real 37s, Toyo, Nitto etc let alone 38s. Flex that thing and post pics!!!!

What about the front wheels turned when the tire gets pushed up into the fender, that is always the ultimate test other than a little hop over some railroad tracks of course. Find a steep driveway of something. Those tires look awesome by the way!!

So I looked up the specs on those Nitto tires. They are one of 2 Radial tires in 38 12.50 17. The other tire is a Patagonia M/T not nearly the quality as a Nitto. They weigh 81 pounds ( 6 ply c rated ) which is very good for a 38. Most E Rated 35 Inch mid tires weigh that much. If these clear with off-road Suspension travel they will be a great option for the 37 pack trucks to go bigger stock.

FWIW - I switched back to the Nitto RG 37" from the 38". The 38" was rubbing on the rear and didn't fit in the wheel well space. Rather than cutting a bunch of stuff to make it all fit, I decided the extra 1" wasn't worth it.

I have an '18 scab w/37's. I have a little rub on the inside front of the tire on the edge of the tread. I am a bit careful in the dirt, but not too overly concerned.
