Or there is no V8 and we are all just a bunch of A-holes.... :ROFLJest:

This current debacle is actually hurting Raptor shop retailers as I'm waiting to see about how this plays out before I decided if I keep my 2013 and supercharge it or trade it in for a possible V8 2017+ model.

:baby:...(Trigger warning ahead, enter at your own risk)...:baby: All I know is I would never buy a $60k+ Raptor that has the same engine as a Toyota Tacoma...I'd rather just buy the Taco and spend the extra $20,000 saved on upgrades, but a 2018+V8 would interest me. Big trucks like big engines if I wanted a car I would buy one. I personally don't have an internal debate about it at all. They either fix the engine or I move on to better things......capitalism is great eh? :ROFLJest: Too bad this link is probably full of S____tuff

Supercharge the 13 and then save up for a second one :)

Supply and demand they already have the Eco boost so it's not like they are compleatly redoing the Ohio they are just making it more efficient. Now if we die hards just bend over and ford would only sell a few V8's they'll just go away, I'm happy dodge has the new V8 pushing it becose that's how it works leap frogging.

If Ford had a TTV8, they would have previewed that in the GT. The fact that their supercar was shown with an EcoBoost V6 tells me they don't have anything. If they did, that would have been the PERFECT place to show it off.

The Raptor really needs a lightweight power plant, and the EcoBoost HO is the perfect lightweight engine (lots of torque down low, big top-end power potential).

In all of he Ford lineup, I can't see another engine platform that would work better. You could reinforce the Coyote motor a bunch and add a supercharger or turbos, but that has nowhere to go (other than maybe in the GT). The Voodoo engine won't work (designed as a high-revving NA motor from the start).

I don't even see a Ford crate engine making more than 500hp.? From a business standpoint, I don't see what motor they could use...?

Maybe a performance diesel! Lol.
