I ordered mine from a Cecil Motors in Burnet, TX in July. That was before about 3 dealerships started ordering TRX's under invoice. These dealerships are also ordering other vehicles at or under invoice. Can you share which dealer you bought from? thx
I'll be honest, 65k for a TRX is a steal.I ordered mine from a Cecil Motors in Burnet, TX in July. That was before about 3 dealerships started ordering TRX's under invoice. These dealerships are also ordering other vehicles at or under invoice.
RAM TRX Purchasing

getting premium vs regular at the pump is about $500-$600 extra over a year at the most.I'll be honest, 65k for a TRX is a steal.
Doesn't matter if you're a ford guy or a ram guy, that price for that capable powertrain is worth it.
I would buy it too at 65k USD. Too bad Canadian dealers aren't doing markdowns of equivalent value.
You get the truck for a discount, but you do pay more at the pump. single digit MPG at 91 or 93 premium will cost more and take away from that 65k price tag. But, still worth it.
Wth are you guys taking about? Why do you pay more at the pump? Umm because it’s got 250 more hp you can play with. This a toy. What do you think the mpg of v8 raptor is going to be ?getting premium vs regular at the pump is about $500-$600 extra over a year at the most.
Ummm . . . yeah. Pretty sure I was pointing out the absurdity of his "costing more" comment regarding premium.Wth are you guys taking about? Why do you pay more at the pump? Umm because it’s got 250 more hp you can play with. This a toy. What do you think the mpg of v8 raptor is going to be ?
I meant it gets bad mileage, so you fill up more often, plus you pay premium for it.Ummm . . . yeah. Pretty sure I was pointing out the absurdity of his "costing more" comment regarding premium.
Since when are EPA numbers something you can bank on? I’m sure the TRX will cost even more on gas and probably so for the Raptor. We know hitting single digits on the TRX will certainly cost you a bit more to feed.I meant it gets bad mileage, so you fill up more often, plus you pay premium for it.
On EPA website, it estimates $5100 annual fuel cost for the TRX.
Raptor, it estimates $3200, but that's with 87. premium would probably bump it to $3700. So its not 500$ difference per year between powertrains, its closer to $1500.
That's what I meant by my comment. You buy the truck at a discount, but you pay 1500$ more at the pump per year, but it is worth it for that 700 hp.
