  • You don't want to pay for maintenance of an ICE vehicle
  • You don't want to for gasoline
  • Need more torque and hp
  • Mostly drive in suburban areas or metropolitan city
  • You don't like the image a Raptor projects
Exactly what image does a Raptor project?

It lifts a middle finger in the general direction of Washington DC, the woke, the EPA, the brainwashed children in a panic about global warming, the tree hugging nutjobs, China, and the over-endowed men(both of them) who drive a Prius. At least that's what mine projects. Any other easy questions I can field?

Apparently the emissions aren’t that bad, global warming is real though

fair enough. Different image than I had in mind but makes sense. I was thinking it was something more like American BA behind the wheel.

The entire situation around the Gen 3 is ridiculous. Allocations? Orders? VINs? Build dates? Ship Dates? Mark-ups? Delivery dates?
I'm going to opt out for a year or whenever. When this process returns to something I recognize as normal I'll order or purchase from dealer stock.
Like I did with the Gen 2 That I have, and still like every time I walk up to and drive it.
Congratulations to every one with a new Gen 3.
I'm looking forward to joining your club as soon as the situation allows.

They say piks are worth a thousand words. In the case of the Gen3 I disagree. Before I got mine I thought the Gen2 front ends looked so much better. Then seeing the Gen3 in person changed my mind. The Gen3 grille is as good if not better in the Gen2. When it’s side by side with a Gen2 you will see. Ford did not go “backwards” on the styling. To each there own tho. Couldn’t be happier that I got my Gen3.
I totally agree with the exception of the rear appliqué.. Gen 2 wins there.
