I am seeing in the DC market as well. I think some people never owned a truck before and bought one took it home and the significant other was like WTF. I also would not be surprised if some people buy them and then cannot get it to fit at home, work, apartment garages etc and have to park far away etc and don't want to adjust to it or leave it outside which I would understand in some areas.

A fair amount of Gen 2s seem to have been sold to people who never had a truck before. The reality of driving (and parking) one every day isn't for everyone.

Your first sentence will apply to me once I take delivery of my 2018. Hopefully your second sentence won't.

Too big for the garage?? I think some people don't realize how big the truck is and can't get it in the garage. I have had a number of people at cars and coffee look and my truck and say that they would get one if it would fit in the garage.

These trucks are a lot bigger than a stock F150, most people know that, some did not. You also had a lot of people who had to have it, that live in a big city, or work in one, then found out they are to tall to go into most parking decks. I live in the country, own a farm, and drive 30 miles one way to work, and Love driving my Raptor!

Garages are for motorcycles, not cars - or trucks. The Rap is a great truck, but it’s my transportation when I’m logistically not able to ride. Raptor in a garage.... The humanity.

Why can't a truck go in a garage? If my garage would accommodate the Raptors size it would absolutely get parked there.
