Why Recaro Seats?

Sat in a gen 2 with them, higher mileage so they were a bit worn but first impression was i liked them over the base seats, felt a little more supportive, hard to tell if the lumbar still digs in over time. Been lookin for some sell offs ever since. Sucks i found an 802a with no sunroof which was rare'ish, but wanted the recaros too, but hard to find both together.

Cool, I’ll give them a shot. Not gonna get my hopes up too much.

i think its designed by recaro and built by a ford supplier like lear.. but also, the recaro package is a bunch of other interior trim, and not just the seats.

The lack of a Recaro tag (I think?) substantiates your theory that they're node made by Recaro themselves.

gen2 says recaro on a small metal tag. gen3 does not???
