Why does everyone hate the B&O stereo?

Do yourself a favor and get the Lightspeed Aviation headsets instead. I am a pilot, have used both, and used to work for Lightspeed, so I know the products inside and out. The Lightspeed's have superior sound quality and are the ones that keep pushing the ANR envelope forcing Bose along. I used to do side by side comparisons for customers to demonstrate the difference.

thank you! I would have never found them on my own.

It's great how much good info you can learn in here. It's awesome to walk in to buy your truck and you know way more about it than any of the sales staff...

It really ****** me off when the sales guy doesn't even know the basic stuff and can't even find it out. I asked one if 801A came with BLIS and he had no clue. A day later, after checking, he got back to me with a "no". Wrong. Now, given how much effort Ford seemed to go to on their website to hide that information, maybe he was told to say no ... either way, the guy was worse than useless.

Who listens to a salesman anyways. I dealt with the sales manager on mine and he didn’t know shit either. Didn’t care, don’t need their info anyways. When they delivered it to my house, didn’t even want him to go over stuff on the truck as it would be a waste of time. They are an order taker and that’s about it.

Agreed. But it worse when a salesman, sales manager, general manager acts all pompous like their word is the last.

Yes.

Ordered a a couple of feet from amazon, unbolted it, wrapped it, put it back in.

Some folks also put polyfill inside while they’re at it. There are also threads on replacing the driver and amping it in the stock enclosure.

Read about that to. Thinking about both but keeping everything else stock. The sub was a nice boost in sound which didn’t make the others a priority. That said. I still need to do it to my 19 raptor.

The sub is one of the few options I didn't choose, figured B&O stock would sound better. Has anyone installed the factory option sub afterwards? It's a behind the seat unit isn't it? We keep the back benches folded up most all of the time since we haul two Dogos around quite a bit and they need the space. An under the back seat unit wouldn't work out for me.
