Just wondering why everyone bought their Raptor?
What motivation caused you to spend the kind of money it takes to buy one and what were your driving intentions once you owned it? Street queen, serious off roading, Show truck, adventure, Work truck etc. etc.
I'll start off. I was moving away from Adventure dirt bike riding and still love to play in the dirt. I wanted my wife to be able to join me in these Adventures so I decided that I would build a prerunner truck. Then I saw the Raptor. A lot of money to go out and thrash. Then I started adding it up as to what it would cost for a prerun truck that would be comfortable and have the ability to go any where I wanted to go. It became more obvious that buying a used Raptor would make more sense and add
the things necessary to pretty much make it bullet proof for what I like to do. Also with it being used, I would not be to concerned about getting that first dent or scratch, although I know that these come with the territory if you take it out off road.
Second was that the truck just plain looks better than anything out there in the truck world coming off the assembly line. The bonus was the overall style and above all ability the truck gives. So I use my truck off road as intended and am not to worried about scratches etc and it is comfortable for the long hauls on road.
