Here are pics

Here are some pictures of FX4 with 3" leveling kit, Raptor wheels, 35x12.5 tires.
The mileage of 17.1 was before Raptor wheels & tires. Since larger tires, mileage corrected for larger tires looks like it will be ~16.5-16.8 MPG 50/50 city/Hwy.

That looks good, but the Raptor just screams AWESOME! I had to make about a 5 hour drive in another truck with my wife following me in the Raptor. The thing just looks intimidating as hell in the rear view mirror.

Raptor "Wow factor"

Yep, FX4 is more useful, & is the truck that I needed, but not the one I wanted. It is no substitute for a Raptor.

Your truck does look nice but i am sorry, I don't see the same offroad capabilities in that truck.

Last weekend I spent three days in Death Valley. I drove 400 miles to get there, 400miles while there, and then 400miles to get back home. We crossed sand, silt, dirt, mud, rocks, world famously bad washboards, water, boulders... and pavement. We crawled at 2mph is many spots, and broke 90mph is others. It carried 2 people and a dog, 20 extra gallons of gas, 10 gallons of water, recovery and safety gear, a full camping setup for 2, food enough for 3 people for three days.

And then I drove it to work the next day.

All under a full factory warranty.

To me, that's what a Raptor is. There's nothing else like it.

My tank is a 25 gallon and I can get almost 400 out of a tank depending on how I drive. My understanding is that the tanks in the 6.2s are even bigger.

BTW Big J just summed it up completely. That is the WHY.
