Two inches is less than you get when you have your V8 blown ....The R has "2" more inches (that's what she said) in tire diameter. Does that count for anyting?

It’s all fiberglass now. I just had my drivers fender replaced. How? The only thing that sounds reasonable is fiberglass hood and fenders. How much would that save? Or are they already fiberglass?
There a 1000 ways to save weight, lighter wheels and tires, thinner body panels, smaller and shorter bolts, lighter seats, thinner glass more aluminum etc…a pound here and there adds up.
I did not say it was going to be free. They knock 700lbs of the truck and raise the base price to 109k, might be a winning combination for them.
I doubt that they could do it for that. 700lb is more than shortening a few bolts and it sounds like the low-hanging fruit has been picked. The heaviest components, the frame and the drivetrain, aren't getting a lot lighter for cheap.I did not say it was going to be free. LOL Good point. A pissing match is a bad idea when the house is burning down.I highly doubt we’re gonna see a newer more updated TRX, except for maybe updates to infotainment. I believe the same for the R. These trucks are the end of the line, we only have 3 more years of production before draconian CAFE requirements. At that point they’ll all transition to some sort of hybrid setup.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a behind closed doors handshake deal between Ford and Ram, the TRX takes the hp, the Raptor takes the weight and travel, and they both stamp their spot in history as the best ICE trucks made.
