It's literally a brand new product and this was a relatively large group buy. And again, this is happening at the same time they are fulfilling orders from a large black Friday sale. And they also just rolled out the new Mustang and F150 Gen 3 3.0 liter superchargers, as well as Gen 3 rotor retrofit kits, of which several sets were sold to members of this small forum alone. Imagine how many units these guys are selling right now across their product spectrum. It's a lot. So they are very busy. Patience is warranted.

Now, if they ship these out and the tuners don't work, that would suck. And then I'd say feel free to twist your ******* all up in a bunch.

No one said I wanted out. I just want it to ship out, they have been telling me for 1.5 weeks that "it will ship in 1-2 days". Yet they confirmed I was the 3rd person to quickly call in and pay for it. I did that so this group buy could hurry and process and get to the quota they wanted, for the sake of everyone else too. I didnt want to hold it back in any way.

So yeah, I get the snarky comment and can see where you are coming from- but to suggest I back out after i've already paid and just wanting to receive my product isn't cool. I appreciate you putting together this group buy, but I feel like Whipple might be a 3-4 person shop because if they are having a hard time shipping 3 dozen packages not even worth much profit to them, that's not a good sign..

EDIT:

Just called them and they said it will ship Tuesday now. So they are giving you bad info as well Toadster. I'd be fine with Tuesday, if they didn't tell me it was going to ship Tuesday of THIS week.. and also said it would ship by Tuesday of last week. So yeah, let's see if they actually get it out this Tuesday.. 3rd time is a charm right?

sorry - didn't mean to be snarky...

if you feel better, I'm waiting till everyone else gets theirs to before getting mine

toadster, when people back out, is whipple just cancelling the order, or are they letting the next guy in line get in on the deal?

they were going through the overflow list - had about 52 people on the list, several never responded so others were added...

honestly I think they were expecting 20 max... we were over 2.5X in demand!

Hey, quick question: with the Whipple tune I know you do the update with the supplied Tomahawk flash downloader tool. Then do you leave it connected? Do you have to leave it connected? Can you disconnect it?

And same questions for the MPT tunes relative to the Nguage. ?? Does it have to be left connected ??

No, you don’t have to leave them connected.

With the ngauge, you may want to leave it connected since it functions as a gauge, too. You can monitor and log a bunch of interesting parameters, like timing, knock, fuel pressure, ait2, etc.
