Wow, 4.88's?!?!?!?! I put 4.10's in the mustang and thought I was a bad ass.

I can't believe your mpg's didn't drop off. How much top end speed did you lose? or can you still (theoretically of course) get it to 120ish?

Yeah I was shocked the mpg's didn't drop as well. It'll go plenty fast for a 6,000 lb truck. "Theoretically" I haven't noticed a difference on the top end and it's crazy torquey down low.

No such thing as a silly question MA1! Need to be thorough if you're gonna spend that kinda dough! 7yr 1st class...very nice! Takes forever in the HM rate

Yeah man, HM is locked up hardcore. MA is kinda as well, but it has opened up with PTS. I didn't think I would make it this soon. When my Chief called me I thought it was a joke. Then I saw my name on the list.

That sounds like an amazing setup.

ProCharged here with long tube headers, X pipe and 3 inch exhaust out the back. I get 11.0 to 11.3 all around driving. Best I have done is about 13 that is keeping it under 65 on the highway. Would I do it again, yes sir I would. Power is amazing. Oh, and I get about 1 MPG in the sand dunes with my foot in it most of the time.

Whipple, kooks headers, high flow cats and duals out back. 11.8. Certainly could do better by keeping foot out of it but where's the fun in that?!?! I drive like I just broke out of jail every single time I'm in it! :)

Now this is awesome gas mileage!! I'm amazed

Ya I'm shocked especially with 4.88 gears. Best I get with the whipple is 14mpg.
Never saw anything close to 18 even when it was stock. I think you have a freak sir...

I have a 6.2 with a Roush supercharger and if I'm extremely easy on the gas I can get over 18 mpg.

I have the Roush package on my 2013 SCREW and am getting 12 mpg. Less than 1,000 miles on the truck so far.

I recently put a whipple supercharger on my 2013. New headers and exhaust also. I had the same concerns as you beforehand. I got a little over 2 mpg increase but I drive very conservative. But I will tell you... You put your foot into it alot and it will be like flushing your toliet! Drive conservative and you will not regret it. It's great to have the extra power. It's a TOTATTLY diff trk.

Oh... And the best I can get out of the whipple is 14. Not much more than that. Surely not 18 like one of the threads here. I need that secret!!
