Is there a way to use the factory airbox with your setup? Is there anyway to keep things quiet? My setup unfortunately has to be as quiet as possible...

Yes, it can, but its a significant power loss because of the size of the MAF. A K&N element would help somewhat with airflow, but that MAF is just tiny. So yes, it can work, and it would be very quiet, but you would have to give up some hp.

Great, massive intercooler in the manifold helps, and then oversized water system for the IC helps the big heat exchanger stay cool. Also, its tested at 125deg F and air temps at 200deg F for possible intercooler failure. Therefore, its extremely safe and robust in the worst conditions possible.

I noticed on your website that you offer different pulley sizes for more boost. When you add these pulleys how much more boost are you guys seeing?, How much more power?, do you have to get a different tune?, and will the added pulleys affect your warranty for the truck? Thanks for the info!

I tried to read through all of this so apologies if this has already been asked:

1. Has anyone driven a truck with this first hand? How is the drivability changed with the tune and extra airflow? I know with the GT500's there were a lot of challenges with the big monoblade TB....I have one on my car and it seems to have been worked out but it did take some time.

2. This likely will open a can of worms but how big of an effect is this on Gas assuming normal driving, not in boost on the floor all the time which I know will kill it even more.

3. How long and how much testing has been done to the engine with these power levels as well as the rest of the drive train? I saw the warranty and so long as it's not the blame game all the time where nobody pays it would be worth having IMO.

4. Will this set up work with a stock exhause set up or are differnt cats preferred? I run too much boost on my GT500 for any cats but the Raptor will be a daily driver so looking to keep it a little more on the tame side here.

5. Is there anything in the works to partner with Ford Racing on a package that they back for the Raptor? I have become a bit of a Ford Racing freak and try to stick with them as often as I can.

Most importantly to me is probably the drivability. I don't want to go through 10K in mods and have a truck that is not comfortable and fun to drive. I did that on the GT500 so mods will likely be slower for me on this one.

Amen Brother! I made my gt500 impossible to enjoy, then got in a stock one and forgot how well balanced and comfortable it was to drive in the first place.

The problem? No matter how much power, you get used to it, and then want more....

lol it's a vicious cycle.

My 1st 2000 HD Truck I've modded over the years to the point that it's now 700+ rwhp and runs 10.3 in the 1/4. It's still streetable, but it's far from stock. Got to be a bit much for daily use, and too nervous always driving it with all the other idiots on the road and leaving it in parking lots, etc. I bought a 2nd 2000 HD truck that was bone stock with 898 miles on the clock at 9 years old. Totally night and day difference in driving experiences, I forgot how cushy and tame the stock setup was. Well that quickly became way too slow only being 220 rwhp, so I did a top end supercharger swap. The 372 rwhp was much better for DD all around use, but still before long, I'd always rather be driving my twin race truck with double the horsepower. I was headed down the same path with the 2nd truck as I was the 1st truck. I ended up selling it to get the Raptor, which is TOTALLY different driving experience and not tempted to do all the same exact mods and end up with the same exact end result.

Long story short, I don't think there's any avoiding it LOL. I did drive my 1st HD truck today for the 1st time since November, and man oh man did it feel soooo damn nice to just blip the throttle and just vaporize the tires lol. I think I need to drive my '85 F-150 tomorrow, so when I drive the Raptor on Saturday it'll feel fast in comparison

The Whipple cal is like nobody elses. Its done by literally the most advanced Ford calibrator with help through powertrain. It has significantly new software that is being used in future OEM applications. Therefore, the drive-ability is like stock, but better. The difference you'll see is the shifts are more agressive during down shifts, shifts are faster, etc. Others out there may have issues with odd downshifts or flat spots, etc, but there really is nothing like it.

Fuel mileage is about the same on the highway, sometimes 1-2 higher but varies if you have mods like bigger wheels, etc which will lower it 1-2, without towing. City is about 0-2 worse with a heavy foot, about even with normal driving. Towing will typically pick up 2-3mpg because you can tow in 5th and 6th gear.

System is setup for stock exhaust, will work with cat-back which will help get rid of some heat and back pressure. Shorty headers are fine, long tubes require different tunes which we currently do not support.

Testing has been going on for roughly 6 months and we've abused them as much as we can! There is some slight torque reduction during shifts, we can't feel it, but its there to keep the transmission in its proper safety range.

While this is an aftermarket system, it has the feel, reliability and drive-ability of an OEM package.

As for FRPP, were working on that but I can't really comment too much on it as of now.
