YMMV but I have had Whipple installed since mile 1800. Now over 20k and it’s been flawless.

I casually check in every few months for an update and every time got a timely answer. That is, every time within 48hrs when it concerned an update.

Very happy with the choice.

18 SCrew Magnetic, Roush CAI. Whipple tuned. SPD adapters, Kooks Green catted down pipes. Kooks mid pipes w/ resonator. HF & VHF Connected.

Thanks. LOL if only you could see how many times I have emailed them for 3 simple things (replacement air filter, tune update, and stock files). That's a huge mistake. They cannot answer more than one question at a time and two different staff will give you two different answers to the same question. Which of their umpteen generic email inboxes should I use this time? Oh, wait... you need to go here and fill out the calibration request form. Then you get an automatic email from them with a questionnaire asking all the same exact questions that you just input into the calibration request form. They give you an itch in the back of your throat only a shotgun can scratch.

FWIW I emailed Whipple this morning about getting the update and just got the updated tune emailed to me right now.

Edit: Just make sure you send your full VIN in the initial email so they don’t have to email you asking for the VIN.

Update.

2nd day with Whipple updated tune and it feels a lot more smooth all around and seems to pull harder up top, I would say it feels slower down low but the speedo is climbing like it’s attached to a rocket. Lol Throttle response is way better in normal and Sport isn’t as aggressive as it was before, you almost don’t need sport anymore.

Almost went with this tune, but figured if I'm tuning I may as well be aggressive. Went mpt, as that was the one to go with at the time. Think cobb is likely king now.

I just switched from Whipple Stage 1 to MPT 93 PR-X with trans tune. I'm really happy with the MPT tune so far. It’s performing surprisongly well even in the 90 degree summer heat. Normal mode drives like a performance vehicle should, and yet somehow shifts like butter. Sport mode adds the quicker shifts, but you don't even need sport mode around town. I don't see any reason to switch back to Whipple in the future.

MPT has been tuning Ecoboost for so long. I find it hard to believe the Cobb will outperform. Granted, I am running Full Race v2 FMIC and the 170 degree thermostat, which supposedly MPT has tuned to take advantage of.

Good to know there is a new update! I emailed them about it a few hours ago.
Anyone know the details of what they changed? I last updated mine in August, 2018. Hopefully there are some hp and tq gains.
