Looking at poll results...14 people "love it". What percentage of total who bought/installed that would that be? Also weird that the vendor rarely comments on the feedback. Just observations...nothing else. I think it's a common tendency for all tunes

I think a proper poll should have an option for a negative opinion. You should also be able to change your vote. Four people are unsure forever and two are in perpetual testing.

Love it
Disappointed
Having some issues
Threw a rod
Didn't like it and changed to:

good point - sorry I can't change the poll...

Installed my Whipple Stage I kit about a week ago. First thoughts are it definitely has more giddyup and the shifts are smoother, but the transmission still feels a bit clunky at times when accelerating slowly. I think it is when it skip shifts from 4-6 it is sometimes jerky/delayed.

Also, I am sure it has been mentioned by another member before, but there is a plastic bracket that sits in front of the stock intercooler (kinda surrounds it) that has to be removed to be able to fit the Whipple Mega Cooler in. The directions provided fail to mention this, but I called Whipple and they are aware and stated the next revision will include this detail. I will take a picture of it when I get home.

the transmission needs a few hundred miles to re-learn things IMHO - after abotu 2k miles mine is excellent :)

In sport mode if I’m not really driving hard my 6 gear slams hard sometimes and is clunky sometimes in 4-6 range, things are smooth in normal mode or if I’m driving hard off the line the gears shift in sport are firm but smooth. It’s just that in between driving in the 4-6 range that is clunky sometimes.

Here is the picture of the stock bracket that needs to be removed to fit the Whipple Mega Cooler. May seem obvious to some, but I was weary of removing it if it was supposed to serve as a seal around the front of the intercooler to ensure proper airflow.

Sport Mode the gear shifts are a bit harder, mines like this as well but was also like that before I installed the Whipple Kit
