GEN 2 Whipple Stage 1 Kit Feedback Thread!

I don’t think you can really compare Whipple’s baseline to your truck. As they said the testing was done in 100 degree ambient and there is all kinds of info out there showing that back to back repeatable dyno results vary quite a bit for multiple reasons on these engines.

The customer service and detailed responses posted here should make anyone on the fence confident that if they buy the Whipple kit that they are in good hands.

Seriously though, no other tuner like MPT / Gearhead / whatever posts such in depth technical knowledge like this.

To me, there's Whipple and then there's the 'other' guys you just cross your fingers and hope shit doesn't blow up on you.

Except your logic is flawed.

A guy posting to an enthusiast board answering basic questions that have been recycled and answered already, is polite, but it doesn’t make them the end all, be all.

Further, both Gearhead and MPT have a longstanding history of reliable performance with thousands of satisfied customers. For that matter, Livernois is AS legendary if not MORE legendary than whipple, especially with the ecoboost. They post regularly as well.

There are other reputable tuners as well.

I’m not worried that my truck is going to blow up, and I don’t have to cross my fingers.

Fear mongering.

Dude my statement still stands. I've never heard of MPT or Gearhead prior to owning a Ford truck.

Livernois I may have heard of, or I may be confusing it with a dish at a restaurant I'd never return to.

I think everyone knows Whipple and knows they are the top dog when it comes to this kind of thing.

I don't care about legendary this or awesome that.. its not fear mongering at all.. it's my opinion and if you don't like it I apologize... For absolutely nothing.

Whipple runs development and co-development projects with Ford and has inside access at Ford that none of the others do. Their tune is legal and safe and meant to work under all conditions. No one else offers anything like it.
