The new PCM is far more complicated and nearly everything is model based. The cat light off, fuel trims, etc are all predicted based off a stock model. When you change all the dynamics of this, its very difficult to properly get this to work. Unlike older PCM's like previous Lightning, Mustangs, GT500's, it was rather easy to get around, just change the transport the delays a little, turn rear O2's off and your good to go. This cal has everything on, just like it was a stock truck, including all safety settings and failsafes. We built an entirely new model for the smith prediction system. There are only a handful of people that can calibrate these properly, thus we are offering a OE based tune for long tube headers.

It is in fact official, we are offering long tube header tunes for all 6.2L equipped engines.

That is great news, awesome customer support as always. What about the Cali guys? Off road only I assume...

We've completed EO testing and are waiting for our EO for the standard kit. For the LT's, it has to be for offroad use only if they have long tubes. That would be tough to get passed since some use smaller cat's.

Great News Whipple Charged, we have a number of customers delaying the purchase of headers because of the tune. Way to take care of business Whipple!

Now all that's needed is some bigger better cats for the Cali guys to help pass the sniffer.

How you Paul got any ideas?

Touchy subject there, really not sure how to help......

Stainless Works uses a 200 cell hi-flow converter and also offers converter delete option when using our headers. I know we sell a number of headers to those in CA but I'm not sure what they are doing to pass the sniffer test.

It seems unboosted is not a problem with the cats.
Well, at least as far as I can see on the internet.

Just wanted to throw it out there for someone to think about, that's all.
