Which LED Tail Lights are these? Help with Hyper Flash

i have the same problem.. after smacking my truck around offroading caused my drivers side tail (Recons btw) to hyperflash - and only the top part will blink. So i seen this post and decided to give it a try to disconnect the battery then connect it again so I did. It didn't work for me.

So I took the tail light out, disconnected it from the plug, then plugged it back in. I immediately tried out the signals and first my passenger side blinkers were hyperflashing now.. WTF - lol

I tried the drivers side blinker and no hyperflashing (wierd, the hyperflashing switched sides).. So then Im going back and forth left/right blinkers then all of a sudden both are normal with no hyperflashing. Great!

After all this, i leave the truck thinking it fixed itself till i have to go somewhere and get back in, drive around the block, and BAM!! Drivers side is hyperflashing again

I give up - LOL

That is the exact shit that almost drove me to the bottle...It is like there is a little Gremlin in the truck ******* with us...

Well, sorry to report, after about 1400 miles since the disconnect they are hyper-flashing again.

So I finally figured out the hyperflash problem on mine... i took the left tail light off that was hyperflashing and noticed the black wire was loose in the plug connector. I pushed it back in, then made sure it was secure and that fixed it. All because of a stupid loose wire. I'd say after a lot of bumps and vibrations they can sometimes work themselves loose which makes sense.

So you should check all the connections and make sure they're all tight.. hope that helps someone else having the same issues

I purchased these from a member here about a year ago and absolutely love them. I'm not sure of where they came from (MFG).

Anyway, they've worked great up until yesterday. I started getting a Hyper Flash on the driver's side tail light intermittently. Now it has progressed to all the time.

Suggestions? What can I do to stop this? I've checked all my LEDs on the Driver's Side (Front & Back) and they are all operational.

Recons, I'm having the same problem. The truck senses how little power the LEDs are drawing and thinks the light is going out. The hyper blink is to alert you to this, to my knowledge there is no cure

thats why they have load resistors built in to prevent that.. not saying they can't fail but check your connections and make sure your wires are secure or that something didn't come loose

I've done that even put on the resistors recon sent me, still no luck

Just curious here. Do you guys use dielectric grease in your connections? For the 3 bucks might be worth a try.
