I purchased these from a member here about a year ago and absolutely love them. I'm not sure of where they came from (MFG).

Anyway, they've worked great up until yesterday. I started getting a Hyper Flash on the driver's side tail light intermittently. Now it has progressed to all the time.

Suggestions? What can I do to stop this? I've checked all my LEDs on the Driver's Side (Front & Back) and they are all operational.

Thanx in advance.

They look like Something Recon sells. check out this link: Recon Accessories: Products

As far as the dreaded hyper-flash. Usually it is going to happen or not, I have not heard of it starting all of a sudden. maybe you have a bulb that is really out.

Did you add any LEDs to any of your front turns? Do you have any resistors on the truck?

Reread, saw you had LEDs in the front remove the front LEDs and put the stock Bulbs back in the turn and see I'd the hyper-flash goes away....

See Above

Just read what you said about the front LEDs. I'll give that a shot. I did look at the front LEDs and they are all working.

But, again, I'll give that a shot and update.

Well gave that swapping out the LED bulbs in the front to OEM bulbs and the HYPER-FLASH is still present.

I went to the store today and it was working normally and then slowly started getting faster and faster??? Then it would go slow again and then a minute later fast...???

Not really sure what the hell is happening. I've never seen that before.

Like you said, either it happens or it doesn't.....

Did you swap out your reverse bulbs for LEDs?

The options are IMO:

1) Live with the hyper-flash (I could not)
2) Add resistors to your tails
3) Go back to the stock bulbs in your turns...

I'll have to figure out the Resistors. The Hyper-flash drives me nuts (especially since is so sporadic and left side hyper-flashes and right does not).

I don't really want to go back to stock tails. :(

I'll figure it out when we get back from vacation. Headed to PA tonight.

Sorry Man...The hyper-flash drove me nuts as well. I just gave up and have LEDs in everything (interior & exterior except for the front and rear turns)

One thing you did not answer was did you change out your reverse bulbs in your tails or are they stock?

The fact that the hyper-flash came on all of a sudden is puzzling!

I have not changed to LED Reverse.

I've just narrowed it down to the lower resistor on the driver's side tail light.

With the Upper Light on the Spyder LED plugged in and the lower light on the OEM Tail light plugged in, the hyper-flash stops...

I then switched plugs (upper to lower) and the problem remained on the bottom.

I called Henry at Spyder (I was able to verify off the box that they are Spyder) and he told me to disconnect the battery for 15 minutes to reset everything.

If that doesn't work I'm suppose to send an email letting them know the updated info and they will take it from there as to whether we need a new resistor or not.

Hopefully the reset clears everything up... :)
