I want to put a cai and tune in the raptor in the near future and need some advice/recommendations on whitch to get. Is the 11 set up the the same as the 12. Does the tune make a big enough difference to justify the money. Also can you add part Buber and company you bought from with the price. Any exhaust info, part numbers where you bought it.
Hey ford:flipthebird: where is my truck!!!

:suicide:My head just exploded with all those questions. Yes the 11 and 12 intakes are the same. You won't ever get an absolute answer to which is best.

IMO you will not notice a huge gain in power even if you had a tune, CAI and exhaust. This is probably because we're talking about tweaking a naturally aspirated engine. Throw on a supercharger and now we're talking ... but then again, what are you planning on using your truck for?

For me the tune, CAI and exhaust combo helped with a small power/torque gain, making that big V8 produce the sweetest exhaust note and most importantly, modify the transmission shift-points so that my Raptor is more responsive to throttle imput. :waytogo:

Its going to take a huge bump in power to feel anything. Honestly, the truck weighs over 3 tons, how much is even 30+hp going to change?

Exactly what he said. I would assume a gain of at least 200-300 rwhp to really notice a BIG difference just because of how much these rigs weigh.
