Wheel Speed Sensor

I was driving home from work one afternoon, and my hill descent, abs, parking brake and advance trac, warning lights came on. Used the forums to give me an idea of what was going on, plugged into a diagnostic and my right wheel speed sensor is gone bad. Heres where im at now, i have no problem finding the sensor, some are svt specific, but those that arent have options like hill descent tagged with them. Do i just get the svt specific or find one with hill descent etc. Or does that even matter? Do they all function the same as long as i get the correct wheel sensor?

Same question as the OP...I just replaced both rear wheel ABS speed sensors but the warning lights are still coming on. Anybody have issues like this?

Did you check for codes? Or just throw sensors at it?

I haven’t done a scan to find the exact codes but it sounds like everybody has had a similar problems with the rear ABS speed sensors failing. That’s why I replaced both of them...I guess I need to OBD scan it to see if the front sensors need replacing as well.

Purely guessing until you have the codes. The guys having problems are guys that are just throwing parts at it and not actually diagnosing it. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you dont.
