now is a sh-i-t-t-y time to buy cars, no matter what it is or how much money you have.
You think so? I don't. If you can get it now- get it now.

They will not be cheaper next year, or the year after that. Or ever. Inflation will make the "shortage pricing" look like the good old days.

That goes for everything you want to buy. Cars, houses, land, everything. Get it now.

True, but a manufacturer isn’t gonna raise msrp in response to transitory supply chain bottlenecks. They increase msrp to keep pace with the CPI.

If you bought an early 21 Gen 3 with 10k adm you paid the same as someone getting an msrp deal today. I’ve never seen that rapid of an msrp increase from Ford before, and they didn’t do that just because of supply delays.

msrp is not going to meet current adm ridiculousness anytime soon.

Ford already ****** all of their buyers by raising the minimum raptor price by 20k in the last couple years.

And they did so because they eliminated the bottom package. All the options that used to be options are now standard.

So basically they drove the price up on purpose to the higher trims to maximize profit.

I think you are mixing apples and oranges.

Ford driving up the price themselves, and ADM because of the supply chain.

Are you talking about increases in the Gen 2 base msrp’s?

I’m only talking about the rapid increases in base Gen 3 msrp’s. To my knowledge the current base Gen 3 is the same as it was at the beginning.

the large msrp increase (20k) started with the 2 then was passed to the 3......because they cut out the lower package and made a bunch of options standard.
