the duct tape is oem. many car manufacturers use it to hold plastic clips to secure the wires to the vehicle. for the t taps, a lot of dealers (at the request of the finance company) will put some sort of tracking device or starter kill before the vehicle is delivered. this is to prevent you from being able to start your vehicle if you dont pay your bill, or if they are going to repo your vehicle. mostly see it on new, used cars with people with not so good credit. not sure why they would put it in this truck. the credit score necessary to finance one of these things is enough to prove you are in good standings.What is strange to me is, if this is a 14, did it come from the factory that way? You are the original owner Sashishimo correct? Why would the factory use wire taps and duct tape?
