ugh. the thing is, i really want a raptor, but the economy is tough. whats the next best thing to one?

How much money do you have? Save some more and wait...the first set of trucks are approaching .3 years old soon. Some people have high miles and would like to get new ones soon...say 2013. I predict more Raptors hitting the used car market in the next year. If you save all the money your willing to put into your truck you should be pretty close to purchasing a used Raptor in the next year. You might even find one with a lot of extra RPG stuff on it...just sayin :waytogo:

ive got till about summer to find one. do you think by then?

Take a look in your area and see if there are used Raptors. My local Ford dealer has them but SoCal prices at dealers are outrageous! Are you able to sell your FX4? If so, how much do you think you can get for it? How much money do you have save? How much can you save by the time you would like to purchase? Depending on you job/parents, cash in hand etc etc etc there is a chance you might be able to figure something out.

well heres the story. i was promised a f250, but when my stepdad walked out a couple of months ago, he took it with him. so my dad and grandfather have come together and they want to get me a truck. my dad doesnt like the f150's with the 6" lifts and all the goodies you can put on them, but he does like the raptor, and he is somewhat of an enthusiast, having owned multiple porsches, ferraris, stuff like that. but were looking for about as low as we can get for a raptor, but we have run into a bunch of scams. then i found FRF, and now im here.

Glad you made it here. The best deals I have seen is $400 over invoice and $500 over seems to be pretty common. Randy, a Ford trucks salesman and member of this forum is selling $3,000 under MSRP. Give him a call and he'll get you a no BS story with great customer service.

If you want to go with the $500 over route, I can refer you to my dealer that I ordered from. Few hundred over invoice is as cheap as a new Raptor is gonna get.

If you want cheaper... get a used. Check out the classifieds page on this forum
