Hello fellow Raptor owners. I got a question on what suspension mods I should do with a budget of 4-5k… I have a 2020 that’s completely stock. It’s got nearly 50k miles on it and am gonna do some suspension mods this fall. I don’t have tools to do the work myself, so labor will be included in the budget. The shocks have yet to be rebuilt and the off-roading I do is high speed fire roads, no hardcore Baja running but I do like to enjoy the purpose of the truck. What kinda suggestions do you all have?

I’d start with rebuilding the shocks, they probably need it. If you’re all stock, and just running fire roads, look into the SDI EClik System. You need to have them revalve the shocks anyway, get them to rebuild also, kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Above are great ideas. I would also add Deavers and a bump stop kit onto them.

Suspension is such a tricky thing to start. But maintenance is the best place to begin. Shock rebuild with E-Click is a stellar upgrade. Pair that with Deavers and its a good starting point for all future upgrades.

I just did +3 HD Deavers and agree that it is a great upgrade. Last year I rebuilt the shocks and put on Eibachs and an Add a leaf. While it looked good and level, the AAL didn't do anything for the rear hop or ride. Now with the Deavers, it's a different animal.

I don't do a ton of off roading or Baja (I'm in the PNW) so my only bumpstop mods are the Offroad alliance strike plates. I ordered the RPG stock bump stock relocators but they haven't been delivered yet. Either way, this set up should be perfect for my Starbucks runs and occasional off road driving.

SDI E-Click for sure! I was amazed at what it did to my truck and how it improved the ride on road as well as off. I was shocked as to how noticeable the ride difference was when I took it off, before I sold the truck. At 50k I would do a shock rebuild. And your rear springs are probably flat, so deavers or new set of factory springs. And that's your budget. If you're looking to save a few $$$, keep an eye in the market for a used E-Click. One should be popping up this week.

On a Jen Too the first thing you should do is

- EITHER a torque arm or traction bars.

The axle wrap and wheel hop are a real issue, especially on hard launches and/or taking off in soft surfaces like sand. Deavers / springs do not address this in any comprehensive way. The leaf stack may be more resistant to twisting, but they definitely still do it.
