Your readiness codes may already be set to ready status, You could stop by a shop and ask them to check for you, our take your chance when you take it in for inspection. If it doesn't pass, you'll know what you will need yo do.

the rear O2's are not ready with my tune. they are shut off so i will have to revert to stock which from what mike says is like disconnecting your battery. they all reset and need to drive cycle learn again. so i will have to do what u did. i havent really played with my livewire that much but i think i can read the sensors while driving with it.

I forgot you had the live wire. That would be good of it does read it.

Some things to note.
1) when I drive from NC to Pittsburgh with the 91 performance tune, and with the sensor unplugged, The truck never through a code. And the readiness codes were not ready status.
2) changing tunes back to stock did not change the readiness status.
3) changing tune from stock to performance did not change the readiness code status (need to verify this again).

Do you need this for nc?

I'm not familiar with the emissions regulations here in NC. The truck is registered in PA.

Seems like a lot of hassle. I do not have to do emissions but Gedny and I have the same tune. Set it and done wondering if he has to change it or not. It has the set up to see all your coda right on it but I've never looked. What I'm getting at is need someone that's smarter than me can read and comprehend that crap lol. Joe you should have gotten the diablo sport.

Changed the truck back to stock tune this morning (3/20). I got to take it into the dealer for a whining pulley.
Observations:
1) the exhaust is much quieter
2) the engine revs longer on cold start.
3) the shift pattern keeps wanting to up shift. Annoying
4) pedal response lag is back
5) check engine light came on.

I guess when you go back to stock tune theses stock traits become much more apparent.

The dealer determined that the O2 wire harness extension was burned. That's why the light came on when back on stock tune. I have a spare wire harness extension, so I can get that fixed. But I did call National Speed in Wilmington about getting two wire harness extensions. They are a Stainless Works dealer. They will install the extensions and ensure they don't touch down on the exhaust again and burn through. I'll keep the one I got as a spare.

I'm also going to have them dyno the truck for a custom 93 octane tune. It sounded like they knew how to tune it so the rear O2 sensors would still be active but no through codes. They use the x3 tuner. I'm hoping to be there when they tune it, but timing isn't working out. Either way it will be done by Friday for the drive to Raleigh Beer and Bacon meet up.
