Used car prices are crazy right now due to the perfect storm of no Raptors available and the chip shortage. When the GEN3 comes out I think you can expect the GEN2 value to drop. This is the major reason why I am selling my 2019 for a GEN3.

The icing on the cake is the new interior, brand new rear suspension and tech (wireless apple car play .. I have this in my m2 and it is awesome.)

1. The used market bumped the value of my 2017 Superduty through the roof. I was able to trade it in for $3k less than I paid for it 4 years and 60k miles ago. I have a daily driver so I can deal without the truck for a few months.

2. The dealership agreed to sell me a Performance Package 2021 Raptor for MSRP because they really wanted my truck (was sure to get it in writing). I got 1 of their 2 Performance Package allocations.

3. I love all the new tech in the new F150's and I've been a fan of the Raptor for years. Almost bought one in 2017 instead of my Superduty.

4. I'm not afraid of a first year vehicle as I have owned a 2009 F-150, a 2015 F-150 and a 2017 F-250, all without problems.

I’m keeping my Gen 2. It’s paid for, modified nicely, and the Gen 3 isn’t speaking to me yet. Plus me and wife have decided to get rid of her Audi Q8 later this year and get us a super car since the kids are all grown now.

First-time buyer. Changing from a 2016 F150 Limited

Looking forward to:
-Almost 100HP increase
-Rear Coils
-Fox suspension
-Infotainment Upgrade
-Better exhaust sound
-37s
-Aggressive look
-Powertech package

Wondering about:
-No more drive-thru car washes
-No massaging seats
-Front Parking sensors? (are those available?)
-Moving to blue interior

FYI ... GEN3 has front parking sensors

GEN1 and GEN2 did not have front sensors.

1. Check out Adam's car care products, they are a vendor on this site. Not being able to use drive-through washes is a mild inconvenience, but you can still use self-serve bays if you don't own a home. Just keep a wash mitt and a towel in your truck.. it doesn't take that long and you won't wreck your paint like an automatic wash will.

2. You won't miss massaging seats that much, I just downgraded in that department too.

3. Already answered above.

4. Better be damn sure about this one! Also, the 801A has forest green seat inserts, just FYI in case you wanted to back off the 37s package.

Always like latest and greatest. A lot of changes as noted, but like the larger screens.
