For the novice customer, is the Unleashed system decent?
Where are these 'bad reports'?

This description certainly beats the hell out of my '20 B&O.

18 powerful speakers for visceral soundscape in your F-150. 1080 watts of power through 18 speakers, including headliner speakers and front headrest speakers, envelop you in sound, even from above

It’s the same unleashed system in the other 21 models. Those have been on the streets for a bit now with plenty of user reports. It may be a marginal improvement, but it is still not that great.

Lots of posts of people looking to upgrade it already. Couple that with all of the issues with sync, the battery draining and all of the other gremlins. + the shortage. No thanks I will wait a couple of years

but hey, you seem to like to form opinions off of marketing material, so I am sure you will like all 18 speakers just fine

Coming from a 2006 Toyota with a tape deck and 4 speakers, It should be a decent upgrade for me. Will have to get my good mix tapes over to my phone to play in the truck beforehand.

Everything is relative my friend. When I bought my 17 the only complaint i had with the truck was the stereo. The 19 I bought thinking the BO would be better than the sony. I was very disappointed. I came from a Porsche with the burmester system (one of the better oem)

once I saw the details of the gen 3 I decided to keep the 19 and take care of the only thing that I hated. The system. I have morel speakers, JL audio and and JL stealth box. It beats the Porsche system hands down. And hey it was a fun project

I will wait a few years- see what the future holds with the R. I certainly wouldn’t want a covid truck either.

First-time buyer. Changing from a 2016 F150 Limited

Wondering about:
-No more drive-thru car washes
First time Raptor owner here as well. I never heard of this. Jeez, I guess I am going to have to handwash my truck, lol.

My 18 has 94k on the OD, but the payload and towing increased enough to close the gap between the Power Wagon and the 3gen. As will as the rear suspension so that pushed me over the edge enough to buy my 3rd Raptor instead of a 2nd PW. The interior upgrade and the Code Orange are nice support For my mid life crisis

Im the opposite. Since they discounted the SCAB I will likely be holding onto my 2020 for a much longer period of time. If they did a Gen 3 SCAB I would have considered an upgrade once the craziness calms down and the bugs are worked out.

I think you hit the nail on the head, everything is relative. My 2016 Sony "upgraded" stereo was a joke. Just had a 2020 expedition loaner and the B&O sound impressed me. Was very similar to my wife's Meridian system in her Range Rover.

Either way, it'll be miles above the Sony system.
