My dealer was not successful disabling the infamous double horn honk. That’s the sole reason I got up to speed on Forscan.

450 mile so far, kind of a bummer losing it for a week for the repair.

I confirmed today that dealers do NOT use forscan, they use a Ford program. I am waiting to see if they can delete the double honk for a fee.

Ok, I guess I just assumed they used Forscan.

Thanks, I'm trying to be a mature adult about it, but it really sucks not having it!! I was just getting used to being spoiled by it. Yes, Gov Wolf is a real peach of a guy.

I just got off the phone with the "service advisor" at the dealership where I just bought my truck. It's in to check for a small coolant leak and a small oil leak. I asked him if they could use Forscan to turn off the double honk and delete the remote tailgate opening function. His response, "What's that?". WTF?

Lol your expectations are way too high. You must have (or had) some premium brand vehicles. You're lucky at most Ford dealers if they know what's different between a Raptor and a regular F-150. I would never expect them to have any knowledge of after market stuff. I've not heard of a dealer within hours of me that has a service department with real Raptor knowledge. You just don't get that kind of experience at most dealers if you're not in a premium brand.
