No problems at all. I don't think it behaves any differently than everyone else's other than FordPass being disabled. There's an error if you go into the FordPass menu, but only if you take that action. ForScan does see an internal code logged about the issue, but it's not a check-engine light, just an internally recorded thing.
I'm updated to Sync 3.4 via USB (mine's a 2019 so it came with 3.3). I did not reconnect the fuse to do this.
I get emails from Ford all the time congratulating me that I've earned 0 FordPass points-or-whatever-they're-called.
You do want to replace the Fuse with a Micro2 fuse to keep whatever is on the conjoined circuit working. (Forget what it was, but it was at least somewhat important.) I picked some up at Autozone.
