I don't see what the issue is. Not everyone that buys this truck needs to be a serious off-roader, this truck is BA on road as well as off. If you were going to buy a F-150 Platinum, why not spend the same money or a little less and get a Raptor. You get a heck of a lot more truck than the Platinum, but you still have the functionality of the Platinum. If you off-road all the time more power to you, if you don't have the areas to off-road but you still own a Raptor, more power to you. Either way you have a BA truck that will meet your needs

It just doesn't make any sense, yeah sure, your money your truck, but you're paying your money for a truck equipped with parts that you'll never use for their intended purpose. There are plenty of vehicles that can do the on road thing just as good or better in all price ranges. In my logical brain, seems crazy.

Meh, mine is on-road 95% of the time. I grew up out west (Coastal CA), played in the sand every weekend. We had three wheelers, dirt bikes and sandrails. I lusted after the prerunner trucks that were always bombing around. When the Raptor came out it had a very nostalgic/sentimental impact on me, so I bought one - kind of like a promise to myself that I wont be in this ******** called DC forever. If I lived out west I'd already have it caged and LT'd and I'd beat on it every weekend.

It's the only new vehicle I've ever owned and the fact that it ****** off the greeners is a bonus.

HEY!!! Screw you guys!!!! i may have a 95% street queen, but my hair isnt receding (thinning on top maybe, definatly going grey), and i certainly do not have a baby **** ( i wont be on film anytime soon either tho)!!!!!

as far as my "dirt road cred", i fell i got plenty. my high school years were on a farm. The first vehicle i bought myself was an 85 F250 HD that had permanent wiper marks on the windshield, and was white, so the mud always stuck out. i beat the **** outta that truck off road.

my next truck was a 99 F250, i was already living back in chicago, but i was out by my dads farm alot, esspecially during hunting season. i loved comming back to work with a muddy truck and let the rain clean it.

both of those trucks were bought used, this Raptor wasnt. so now, i dont go out of my way to off road, and i do my best to keep her looking clean and shiney! that doesnt mean i shy away from off roading.... i think my paticipation at Snoball 13 proves that. also when i go to my sister n BIL's farm, as soon as i hit the gravel roads, rear gets locked, off-road mode goes on and traction set to sport. ******* driving commences!!!!

so this "street queen" says **** you all!!! :flipthebird:

I will off-road mine more once I get out of AK. The place most people go to here is Jim's Creek, which has narrow trails built for ATV's/Jeeps, and a lot of silt in the water which is extremely hard on your berrings...can't wait to move back to Missouri and hit up TRR/Snow Ball. Also St. Joe State Park in southern Missouri is awesome. There are sand flats, water holes, and trails to ride!:party33:
