I admit, I'm one of those guys that rarely get out. But I use to head out quite often with my old 98 flareside. Raptor was cheaper than an fx4, so I went that route.

RLTW, I live just north of ya and have to agree that this truck is made for the offload. Now mine too is stuck on pavement quite a bit. I took it to Kure last weekend and it loves it. Just let me know if ya want to head out. I am really hoping to take this thing to Virginia in September. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370628523.688140.jpg

Why and who really cares what someone buys or owns, who is any one to say a certain type of vehicle is to be used for a specific reason, now you sound like the same people trying to take our rights to own firearms.
You don't need a raptor because you don't off road, well then you don't need a gun because your not a cop, your not military, oh and why do you need to hunt, just go to the store and buy your meat.
Lets see, and correct me if Im wrong , did you work and pay for the truck you own, or did mommy and daddy give it to you for a gift, or maybe gave you some of the money to purchase it, do you own your own home or still live at home?
Here's one good reason for buying a raptor over a standard pickup, you don't have to worry about changing and or lifting it and void any warranty from doing so.
I live in jersey and drive nj and ny roads and brother these roads are just as hard on the truck as going off road, so WIN-WIN for me.
All I can say is its an awesome truck love it and wish every one with a raptor the best off luck and enjoyment with there truck no matter what they use it for,and to sume it up I own what I own because I can.

There's a thread like this on every vehicle forum on the internet I'm sure. This isn't the first one of this nature on FRF either. One guy who wants to call out other people, or basically shame them, for the way they use their vehicle. On the Bullitt forums it's the guy whos Mustang is a daily driver bitching about the guys that only put a couple/few thousand miles on their "garage queen" every year. I couldn't care less what someone else does or doesn't do with their vehicle.

it's not that we care what they are doing with their vehicle, or that we think if you don't offroad it, you shouldn't have a raptor, but people who haven't truely are missing out on enjoying their truck where it was built to be, and the people who are on this side of the arguement want everyone to try it at least once, just to see if they like it, at least, that's my viewpoint on it
