What fuses for switch pros?

Switch Pros SP-9100 requires 2 power sources.
1. source that signals the vehicle’s lights are on
2. source that only comes on when the vehicle is in the “ON” or “ignition” position

Are there any fuses in the engine compartment that can satisfy these requirements?

The only Ford approved location to connect aftermarket wiring is the upfitter switches. They are only hot in start/run, so that will satisfy your requirement for an ignition switched power source.

1.) headlight trigger. The connector on the back of the passenger headlight is where I did. See attached pic.

2.) So I generally run a fuse tap at the passenger kick panel fuse box. I haven’t dug for one under the hood but I probably should. If you use a fuse tap at the passenger kick panel, you can use an upfitter pass-through wire to get it to the engine compartment.

Looks like you're plugged into #36 for IGN and #29 for constant 12V ?

so did u guys were able to hook it up the right way? im in the process for my truck and i have no idea where to tap for ignition or the white wire or pink wire lol

I use fuse 14 under the hood for my headlights and ignition for the SwitchPros. Haven’t had an issue with it but I understand that it also controls something else even though it says unused. Not sure what it controls.

I have not tapped into my lights yet as the red backlight doesn’t bother me at night and I don’t want to break into the factory harness.

If you have a 2019 or 2020, that fuse powers the VDM. Not something you want to be tapping into.

Not BLIS, the VDM controls the shocks.
